What to tell us before the quote
Tell us your municipality, the type of building and an estimate of the surfaces. If you don’t know the dimensions, simply describe the situation. Mention the height, access, any furniture and time constraints. This information helps us prepare a suitable proposal.
Do you represent a property manager (syndic), an agency or a business? Mention the number of sites and who coordinates access. For regular cleaning, we define the visits and scope together. The form does not automatically book any date.
Limits matter too.
Watertightness, cracks, seals needing replacement and leaks call for a specific inspection. A fragile roof is not a surface to walk on.
How is the price set?
The quote depends on the amount of surface, how dirty it is, the method required and the means of access. The frequency and combining several services can also change the organisation. We prefer to clarify these points rather than quote you a price that doesn’t match your building.
Before you agree, check the surfaces included, any options and the practical arrangements. If your needs change, let us know before the work so the scope can be adjusted. That way you keep a clear view of what is planned.
Distinguishing the surfaces of your conservatory
A conservatory often brings together several materials: vertical glazing, roofing, profiles, seals and sometimes sun protection. They aren’t all treated the same way. In your request, distinguish between inside and outside faces, fixed parts and opening elements. Say whether the roof is glass or another material, if you know. A simple description is better than an overly precise estimate based on a measurement that’s hard to take. Point out particularly marked areas and old stains so their treatment can be considered separately.
Arranging the inside and the surroundings
Plants, furniture and decorative items can get in the way of the surfaces. Tell us what can be moved and what must stay put. Before the appointment, clear the accessible areas if this can be done without risky effort. Blinds, cables and fragile equipment should be pointed out. Outside, a narrow patio, a change in level or limited passage can influence the choice of equipment. These details are useful from the quote stage, even when they seem minor compared with the size of the conservatory.
A roof needs specific preparation
The glass or translucent roof of a conservatory is not a floor. Don’t climb onto it to take measurements or try a first clean. Instead, describe the access from the garden, any neighbouring wall and possible obstacles. The team determines what can be done given the conditions on site. Cleaning a roof doesn’t automatically include the gutters, opening mechanisms or a watertightness repair. Each additional element must be included in the accepted scope to avoid any confusion on the day.
Choosing the right service
Routine cleaning and treating long-standing deposits don’t always require the same preparation. Some marks may come from the material itself or from a defect that cleaning can’t address. We clarify these limits so you can compare services on a realistic basis. You can also combine the conservatory with the windows of the house; just mention the surfaces involved and your priorities so we can organise a coherent visit.
