A service defined with you.
- Identifying the surface and its condition
- Removing dirt compatible with the treatment
- Protecting the surroundings and the agreed finish
How we work
Pressure and products are chosen according to the surface, the joints and water drainage. A test on a small area may be needed. A fragile surface must not be treated like hard-wearing paving.
What to tell us before the quote
Tell us your municipality, the type of building and an estimate of the surfaces. If you don’t know the dimensions, simply describe the situation. Mention the height, access, any furniture and time constraints. This information helps us prepare a suitable proposal.
Do you represent a property manager (syndic), an agency or a business? Mention the number of sites and who coordinates access. For regular cleaning, we define the visits and scope together. The form does not automatically book any date.
Limits matter too.
Joint repair, wood treatment and waterproofing are separate services, to be specified in the quote.
How is the price set?
The quote depends on the amount of surface, how dirty it is, the method required and the means of access. The frequency and combining several services can also change the organisation. We prefer to clarify these points rather than quote you a price that doesn’t match your building.
Before you agree, check the surfaces included, any options and the practical arrangements. If your needs change, let us know before the work so the scope can be adjusted. That way you keep a clear view of what is planned.
The material guides the choice of method
A patio can be made of wood, slabs, stone, tiles or paving. The condition of the joints and finishes matters as much as the name of the material. In your request, describe the surface and any treatments already applied, if you know them. The manufacturer’s recommendations can help choose a compatible approach. High pressure isn’t a universal answer: cleaning must respect the surface and not create a new problem just to remove dirt. Fragile areas should therefore be pointed out from the quote stage.
Preparing the surroundings and water drainage
Mention any furniture, plants, sockets, doors and neighbouring surfaces that need protecting. How water can drain away may influence how the work is organised. A raised terrace, an inner courtyard and an outdoor path don’t have the same constraints. Mention the available access and anything that can’t be moved. If you’d like to clear the area before the visit, only do so when it’s safe. Moving heavy loads or fixed installations is not included by default in a cleaning service.
Distinguishing cleaning from restoration
Some marks come from use or the ageing of the material rather than a simple deposit. Damaged joints, cracks and colour changes don’t necessarily disappear after cleaning. A repair, wood treatment or surface protection is a different job. These options should only be considered after checking that they are useful and compatible. The quote states what is and isn’t included, so the expected result matches the service you actually chose.
Planning around the conditions on site
Preparation takes into account the surface, how accessible it is and the conditions at the time of the visit. Tell us about any constraints on movement or use, particularly if the patio is shared or used by a business. When it can go back to normal use is discussed according to the chosen treatment and the features of the site. For future maintenance, watch the deposits and how the surface changes rather than following the same frequency for every material. You can then adjust your needs next time we talk.
Brussels and the neighbouring municipalities
We consider requests in Brussels and the surrounding area. Availability, access and travel arrangements are set out with your quote. Find local information or contact us about a municipality that isn’t on the list.
